I thought I read somewhere that NBC's WNBT in New York was originally on
Channel 1 and was moved to Channel 4 when Channel 1 was discontinued.
A propos of not very much, this reminds me that WRGB in Schenectady, N.Y.
was originally on Channel 4. I lived in Albany in the 1950s and remember
when they moved to Channel 6 in January 1954.
