FYI: 'Matty in the Morning' host to make 'big' announcement Tuesday morning

The Medford translator was obtained by Alex Langer's consulting engineer,
whose name I've momentarily forgotten.

1410 is audible in Medford, and the translator's pretty restricted in its
range; already on I-93 in Stoneham I start getting some Spanish co-channel
station. It's basically Radio Free Medford.

1410 drops to 25 watts at sunset, becoming Radio Free Dedham. In the
daytime the range is pretty impressive for a Valcom whip with a short
ground system.
