Matty announced his retirement, effective immediately.  He joined Kiss 
108 in 1980, and his morning show debuted in mid-January 1981. An 
impressive career. Carl De Suze spent 39 years as a morning host at WBZ. 
Matty beat that-- he lasted for 41 years at Kiss 108.
