The first ever broadcast of American Top 40 was on WMEX 1510 July 4th weekend 1970. Two other stations that Max Richmond owned at the time also had first play. WPGC, Morningside, MD and KBMI(location escapes me). There were four other stations for a total of seven that had first play on same weekend. Just my 2 cents.
