I don’t know of many radio people who would rate an obituary in the New York Times, especially those who aren’t New Yorkers or nationally known personalities. But famed CKLW Music Director Rosalie Trombley received a half-page write-up as the powerful starmaker who “furthered the careers of Alice Cooper, Bob Seger, The Temptations, and many others.”

If you can get through the Times’ paywall, here’s the story.
