Reported by Broadcasting & Cable on line that Ed Ansin, owner of WHDH & WLVI TV in Boston and WSVN TV in Miami has passed away at the age of 84. Despite WHDH losing the NBC affiliation a few years ago, they've held their own with an expanded news schedule and syndicated programming. May he Rest In Peace. Mark Watson
