Gil Santos dies on 80th birthday.

     Gil was one of the best people I ever worked with in radio. Quiet in the newsroom, but friendly. I always got a kick from hearing him peck away on his manual typewriter, on which he did all his writing until the day he retired from WBZ (AM).
