Why does Costa-Eagle keep swapping call letters among its stations? Most
recently, the WCCM calls were moved from the 1110 in Salem and were switched
to the 1570 in Methuen and vice/versa. I think by now each one of the
stations they own has been WCCM at one time or another. I suppose this time
it was so that the Merrimack "Valley" branding would go with the "MV" in
WMVX, but gee it seems like a lot of effort to keep rotating call letters.
At least when WCCM was at 800, the CCM meant something.
