stupid spammers

All they need are names and addresses; they don't need the use of your 
friend's machine. The "From:" line is easily spoofed to make the email 
appear to be from anyone. I get spam emails all the time purporting to 
come from people I know but when I check the IP's on them they turn out to 
be from China or South Korea. Since I use mail server whitelisting, all of 
them end up in my spam folder.
