I bought the book many years ago after Sid mentioned it on this board. Excellent book.
BTW - I saw WHDH-TV-5 sign off, and then WCVB sign on for a intro special that early Sunday morning, March 19, 1972.
I think one of the only things that stayed the same after the Herald/BBI changeover is Perry Mason airing afternoons at 5:00. :)
