How many times has it been noted that when newspapers report on radio, given enough space, they will get
something wrong. Today (04/19) the Boston Herald finally got around to running a story on the Touchb 106.1
controversy, and also an op-ed piece. The op-ed piece mentions that WILD-AM 1090 currently broadcasts
in Chinese. WRONG! On those occasions when it can be heard at all, it airs the English-language
service of the Chinese government. The Herald also recently provided information that Red Sox games
can be heard in Spanish on WUFC-AM 1510. Not so. There must be a story behind that.
