Yes, as far as I've been able to determine,  Kevin is correct:  Bruce 
Talford was first in Boston, circa 1960, in the WHDH Skyway Patrol 
Helicopter.  Nationally, I've traced it back to around 1958, when KABC 
had a traffic copter with Donn Reed and Max Schumacher.
