This is sad news on many levels.  Some of the best media criticism and 
political reporting came from the Phoenix.  Dan Kennedy, David Bernstein 
and others often covered stories the mainstream press did not.  A lot of 
good reporters worked for the Phoenix, and you wonder if they will be 
able to find work, given today's financially unstable media environment.
