RIP Don LaTullipe

Thank you, Donna, for remembering one of the real stand-up guys in Boston radio.

I, too, remember him from his time at WEZE doing his thing in that
fishbowl that
was their street-level studios in the Statler. Don came to WROR as
Public Service Director
when I was working overnights and we became fast friends. He could
rely on the skeleton crew
on weekend overnights to have his back for Public Service programming.
 He survived me
there and kept the airwaves properly informed for years.

Don lost his son in the Station Nightclub fire and for many years
became the go-to contact
when news crews wanted the family perspective.

Don, I'll miss you and your quick wit and easy laugh echoing down the
hallways. Thanks,
old friend!
