The sign on of WHDH-TV in 1957 was well covered by the Herald Traveler
in November 1957. I remember a full Sunday supplement, with the actual
sign-on about two weeks later than the anticipated sign-on because of
high winds at the top of the tower, which prevented anyone going up to
make the final connections.

I imagine the moving date can also be found in the Herald-Traveler
archives at the Boston Public Library. The problem is having the time
to go and look.
