Reminds me of WMEX, which had a night signal that we used to joke was 
"#1 in trees and fish"-- you could hear it in the woods of Maine and it 
came in really well in Newfoundland.  And when I was at WCAS, with its 
250 wonderful watts, the signal skipped beautifully down to Provincetown 
on a regular basis.  I used to get requests from P-Town all the time.
