R.I.P Steve Fredericks

I always considered him to be the most talented host to ever do talk
radio in Boston (and just possibly anywhere else). He could do
issue-oriented talk just as well as he did sports talk, but I gather
that he preferred sports. I don't think I ever heard him do
play-by-play. No matter what the subject, I found him well informed, 
entertaining, and stimulating.
