Walt was over on the TV side and I was on radio at a time when there was
a pretty big psychological wall down the middle of the WBZ building, so 
I never got to know him well (he retired right around the time the 
newsrooms moved in together), but he was always cooperative and friendly 
when we needed him to do something for radio...and, yes, a consummate 
professional.
