My FWIW regarding call letters is NAC (as in WNAC). In this case it's short for 
Natick Animal Clinic and I always do a double take when I'm in there and I see 
it.

And, FWIW, the initials WGY often appear at the end of the docket number on 
cases in the Massachusetts Federal District Court.  I always do a double-take 
when I see it, but it's to indicate that the case is assigned to Judge William 
G. Young.
