NESN, CSNNE are battling it out for viewers

NESN pays top dollar for Bruins/Red Sox productions but everything out of Watertown is done on the cheap.

CSN went the extra mile in Vancouver doing HD on site. NESN made Jack Edwards pay his own way.

I suspect in 5 years Comcast may well own NESN and the Red Sox. Who else could afford them?
