What you are probably hearing is a local religious translator licensed to  Calvary Chapel Twin Falls. It is W217BK 91.3 from Southwest Harbor here on Mount Desert Island. It is only 35 watts, but transmits from Freeman Ridge,  150 feet above Southwest Harbor on a cell-phone tower, and also the old Cable-TV Tower from Adelphia Cable days. They are almost line-of-sight across Blue Hill Bay, so with only that small power they could easily reach over to Blue Hill/Deer Isle area.  They used to be on 91.5 until a couple years ago, then moved down to 91.3 which now totally wipes out my reception of CBCRadio 1 Saint John also on 91.3.  They are on quite sporadically, often off-air for a few days or a week at a time.
 
FYI There is also another Religious translator on 92.1 in Ellsworth which re-broadcasts WHMX 105.7 "Solution FM" from Lincoln that comes in surprisingly well here on MDI. They transmit from the old 300foot WKSQ tower, on Bechwith Hill, next to WalMart in Ellsworth.
