WBZ Changes

[Dan.Strassberg]

I would never have guessed the Mapfre spelling in a million years. The
letter P silent? In Spanish? Really? Who'd a thunk it? Decades ago, I
would occasionally correct a friend who sometimes mistakenly
pronounced the silent letters in various words. His droll come-back
was always the same: "I guess it must be silent like the 'P' in
swimming."
