There are plenty of complainers out there - but when there's useful 
content, FM HD can and does work pretty well. We have a small but very 
loyal HD listener base here in Rochester for WXXI-FM's HD2, which 
simulcasts WXXI AM 1370 for the benefit of listeners east and west of 
Rochester in the nighttime nulls of our AM signal.

The very best HD radio out there, the Sony XDR-F1HD, is only $99, so 
you're not making a huge investment, especially if you buy it from a 
place with a friendly return policy.
