NBC Makes It Official: Jay Leno's 10PM Show Axed

The ratings show that the lead-in show has a lot to do with any particular station's 11 o'clock news. I think far fewer people have a favorite newscast now than in the days of Liz and Bob and Chet and Nat. How many people can name more than one or two local anchors at all, let alone designate a favorite?

People can't really just watch whatever comes on after their 10 PM show, do they? People aren't that much like sheep, are they?
