quick turntable question

"Trying to remember the name of turntable (used at
WOTW back in the 80's at least) that had a wooden tonearm. A real
work-horse. Any ideas?"

Most likely a QRK.  The wooden tonearm was made by a company out of western Massachusetts whose name escapes me for the moment.  The QRK's were real workhorses.  You couldn't destroy them.
