"Stunting" is when a radio station decides to change format, and  
there's a period of unusual programming before the new format is  
introduced.  In the case of the NH stations, they are running looped  
announcements promoting other radio stations that are owned by the  
same company, directing that station's audience to those signals.  In  
other instances, a station may play the same song over and over for  
days on end, sound effects, a computerized countdown clock, or  
something else strange to create a buzz before unveiling the new,  
permanent format.  Hope this helps.
