Helen Hayes had 2 theaters named for her while still alive. The first one was demolished to make room for the Marriott in Timesd Sq so the Little Theater was renamed for her. ABC and Westinghouse used the Little Theater for shows starring Dick Clark, Johnny Carson, Merv Griffin and David Frost.
