To be fair, the evening & overnight newsperson has always read the 
sports themselves.  But it was always just the scores of that evening's 
games.

Even if Diane Stern recorded as late as 8:00 pm, by 4:00 in the morning 
it's 8 hours old, it's generic and has no sports.  That's not gonna fly 
well during Playoffs.
