Trops

Can't comment on the weather on the Cape but what I found remarkable
(or at least unusual) was how sustained the listening conditions were.
I have not checked yet this AM, but yesterday, it seemed as though the
reception up here of stations from down there continued unabated for
nearly 24 hours. Maybe someone who is more of an FM DX enthusiast than
I am will comment, but my experience with trops openings is that an
opening that lasts six to eight hours is a lengthy one and that
openings of a couple of hours duration are the most common.
