Yes. I remember hearing it reported on the WCRB newscast when the FCC 
authorized FM multiplex stereo.  The news report even included a 
statement that WCRB would be broadcasting multiplex stereo shortly, 
and they did.  Within weeks, I think.  WSRS was still WTAG-FM for a 
couple more years.
