The Globe is doing this for one reason - if the writers get the OK for outside work (the hope is) they won't be looking for raises. It's not about love for WEEI or distrust of the new station. They're probably OK with Mazz being Felger's co-host as long as the paper and Boston.com get mentioned a lot.
