CBS has cancelled Guiding Light

After 72 years on radio and TV, Guiding Light is going off come this September. Wish I could say I didn't see this coming. I was a fan back in high school (early 80s) and haven't seriously watched for about 20 years. I did catch some episodes last summer just to see how the new production values held up (they didn't).
