It is hilarious.  Unfortunately, for a substantial segment of the population, it's going to contain more truth than spoof come 2/19/09.  There's always a certain percentage of people that just aren't comfortable with anything much beyond an analog clock, and sometimes even that throws them for a loop.

The DTV conversion test market (Wilmington NC), in which all analog signals were shut off last month, saw several hundred phone calls to the local TV stations asking why they were off the air.  Even with the nationwide blitz of ads about the DTV conversion, this may be an omen for next February.
