You raise an interesting question. The station actualy was #1 in the market in the mid 60's until WJIB came along. By 1967 they had lost NBC as they would not clear Monitor on weekends and WCOP would. ( and WCOP wound up with the RedSox in the World Series ) I have no clue who owned them.
