Grand Ole Opry

The Grand Ole Opry was first heard on WSM on November 28, 1925 and continues to this day.  A national network segment. NBC began picking
up segments of the show in 1939 which were broadcast to "selected" NBC stations.  By the mid 40's the entire 30-minute segment was broadcast on the full NBC network and remained available until 1957.   Tom Heathwood     HeritageRadio@msn.com
