WNVR is also directional at night (as well as during the day). The
(two tower) night pattern is very similar to WEZE's but the radiation
minima lie to the east (which is to say, the pattern is aimed to the
west--away from Chicago) to protect WBZ. If I'm not mistaken, WNVR's
night signal in the direction of the Loop is equivalent to just under
1W! (Too bad the keyboard does not produce upside-down exclamation
points;>)
