If I were betting, my money would be on lightning. There sure has been
a lot of it around here this year. It would be difficult to collect
data, but it would be interesting to know what percentage of broadcast
stations within 50 miles of Boston have experienced lightning damage
that required time and/or money to repair since May 1 of this year.
I'd be surprised if the number weren't higher than 10%.
