Funai, most likely. If the tuner chip is the same one that's in the 
"Magnavox" DVD recorders I bought a year or so ago, it's decent - maybe 
not quite in the same league as the Zenith/Insignia that I've been 
recommending to anyone who asks, but not significantly worse.
