Larry was told a number of times not to shoot people off the air for just
that reason: it seemed to imply approval of gun violence...no kidding.

But we actually did get calls from listeners now and then who were critical
of that bit.

Do you think that nervous managements would allow "shooting" people
off the air in 2008? Sort of implies approval of gun violence. To me,
it seems harmless enough, but I think the PC police would nix the
ploy. But what do others think?
