Jack Chase Toupee

Legend has it, and I believe I heard Jack Chase himself tell the story, that
he left the house without his toupee one day and had to go on air without it
for the first few news cut-ins.  The toup was rushed up to Soldiers Field
Road by taxi and Chase put it on for his next shot, saying "I'd like to
thank my brother, (X), for filling in for me earlier."
