That probably depends on just what the contract says and what a 
"matching offer" is.  Is it just the money or does it include other 
things?

Since the case is before Judge Van Gestel, that means it's in the 
Business Session in Suffolk Superior Court.  That's a session devoted 
to business disputes.  It's a new innovation, only a few years old, 
and Judge Van Gestel is very knowledgeable on this sort of thing.
