before the 590 to 850 switch, right?

Yes, when the previous owner of WRKO (American Tower?) bought 850 and also
got ahold of WEEI's intellectual
property and calls, WEEI moved to 850 and the afternoon lineup of 850--Rush
and Howie--moved to WRKO.
Originally WHDH 850 had aired Rush only on weekends.
