But Gary Francis, who used to produce Burns's show in Boston and remains a
personal friend of Gene's, posted yesterday that whoever posted that Gene
had moved to Alaska was wrong. Gary's post even named the San Francisco
neighborhood in which Gene lives. So it appears that, although the news that
Burns has moved to Alaska may be interesting, it is also incorrect.
