Before he couuld even consider buying or entering into a LMA in Boston,
he'd first want to solidify his position in New York City. I wonder
if the New York Radio Message Board had a hand in this sale; they spent days
absolutely slamming WRNN which had previousy been considered the
likely buyer of A.A.R. If the new owner turned out to be a sleazy operator
of an infomercial-infested TV station that prospered only because of the must-carry
rules, Air America might have become even more tainted than some are describing
it today.
