But I managed to listen to it in Bedford during the day.  At night it 
clashed with WKBW.  Once in the late 1960s, I was listening at night 
on the car radio, and when I turned off the main road to my home 
neighborhood, the signal faded.  Apparently I lived in a bit of a 
dead spot for WMEX at night.
