I am certain that WWEL-FM did the games in 1978 and they moved to
WPLM-FM the next year setting up the move to make PLM the flagship a
couple of years later.

If my braincells are intact I believe both WWEL and WTTK flipped the
same day (January 1, 1979 )  ( to WXKS and WHUE )
