Well, dare I say this, a lot of rappers ARE singing about whores -
prostitutes on the street, escorts, and whatever.
If you buy into the theory that rappers are artists who are reflecting
society, or what is goin' on down in da street, well den dere might be some
legit to dis [dialect added for effect].
Now, one could make the argument that this is free speech or that this isn't
a healthy thing to be having on the air. I personally agree with the latter.
It is one thing to make a joke.
It is another thing for a guy like Imus who has done this over and over and
over and over again ...
