Ed Carroll Out The Door At WBZ- TV

   The Boston Herald reports in Friday's editions that WBZ- TV Channel 4 
chief meteorologist Ed Carroll was told earlier this week that his contract 
will not be renewed when it expires in November. He was told he could stay 
on until the end of the contract, but instead walked out in a huff. No word 
on who will take over Carroll's spot on the 4, 6 & 11 PM newscasts, Mish 
Michaels was filling in this afternoon on the 4 PM news.
