Interestingly, three reports about Shepard Smith's gaffe on Fox News, 
including CNN.com and no mention of the 1:30 p.m. CNN Radio special 
report that the Pope had died.  Not until a feed later that quarter hour 
did the network retract.  Why would that not have been included in the 
media report?
