There's been some speculation that Infinity/Viacom and Stern might
negotiate to let him out of his contract early.  Stern would certainly
welcome it; the only question is if it makes sense for Viacom, which
otherwise has to deal with Stern plugging Sirius on their airwaves
for the next 14 months.

Regardless of whether that happens or not, it will certainly be a
good test of how popular Stern really is.  (Cue up the Tom Petty song...)
